Join EO Portland in Beaverton for a special happy hour and conversation with Kurt Huffman, founder of ChefStable, the Portland-based restaurant group behind some of the region's most recognizable and beloved restaurants and bars.
Since founding ChefStable in 2008, Kurt and his team have helped open more than 40 restaurants, partnering with talented chefs and operators to turn great culinary ideas into thriving businesses.
During this intimate conversation, Kurt will share stories and lessons from nearly two decades of building restaurants in Portland—from finding the right partners and developing concepts to navigating the realities of operating in an industry known for razor-thin margins and constant change.
We'll also hear about ChefStable's continued expansion across the Portland metro area, including its growing presence in Beaverton with concepts like Loyal Legion, Bluto's, Dos Hermanos Bakery, and Flora.

What to Expect
The evening is structured as a happy hour, with a brief moderated conversation. We're keeping the gathering intentionally small to create space for genuine conversation and connection. You'll have an opportunity to meet current EO members and other Portland-area entrepreneurs, ask questions, and get a feel for the kind of peer-to-peer conversations that happen within the EO community.
