ON DISPLAY: October 15, 2026 to January 8, 2027.
DRIVE THRU ART BOX: Green Truck Pub, 2430 Habersham St, Savannah, GA 31401
Jazz Howington is a Savannah-based painter, muralist, illustrator, and SCAD alumna whose work celebrates queer love, chosen families, and the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. Through vibrant colors and intimate portrayals, her work brings visibility to relationships and stories often left out of the frame.
“My Family Vine” challenges traditional definitions of family by celebrating the relationships we choose to nurture beyond blood ties. Using the metaphor of a vine, which grows horizontally and relies on surrounding structures for support, Howington explores the resilience, interconnectedness, and evolving nature of chosen families.
Following the artist talk, we’ll walk over to Green Truck Pub to experience the installation together!
