Knick Music LabThe last time Happy and the Moonshine played a show was March 2020, right before the pandemic shut down live music everywhere. More than six years later, we're getting back together for one night only. Expect the same eclectic mix you remember, from Jazz standards and Broadway to Classic Rock and Pop hits, with a few surprises along the way. We're starting early at 7 PM and wrapping up at 9 PM, because let's be honest, we're all a little older now. Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest night of the year for catching up with old friends, so come spend it with us.
Happy and the Moonshine play an eclectic mix of music spanning nine decades. Vocalist Dave DeAngelis can melt your heart with a jazzy Gershwin ballad or stop you in your tracks with a powerful pop or rock anthem, and he can sing just about everything in between. Pianist Michael Chicoria improvises freely across jazz, blues, Latin, classical, and rock and roll, blending them into a style all his own. Both have been playing since they were kids and bring more than 50 years of combined experience to the stage. Their setlists range from Broadway to Bob Dylan and from Lady Gaga to Led Zeppelin. The duo is just as at home in a dinner lounge as on a rock concert stage or in a late-night bar.
Please note that the Knick does not have a working kitchen. Pre-packaged concession snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase and this event will include a limited bar featuring a selection of pre-packaged beers, wines, and canned cocktails.
TICKET NOTE: This event is at the Knick Music Lab located at 35 Railroad Ave. in Westerly. This is a general admission ticketed event. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The UNITED is not liable for any tickets purchased from a third-party seller.
