About this Event
Bring on the music, treats and Hanukkah joy! Join us Friday, December 4, and every weekday from Monday, December 7, through Friday, December 11, to light the community hanukkiyah. Crafts start at 4:00 pm. At 4:30, sing along with Jonathan Bayer as the candles glow a little brighter each night, then grab a fried treat.
With each new candle, the hanukkiyah grows brighter, carrying forward a tradition of resilience and hope. It’s a reminder of what we can create when we bring our values, creativity and joy into our community.
Did you know? The Hanukkah menorah is called a hanukkiyah. It holds nine candles, one for each night plus the shamash, the helper candle that lights the rest.
On Friday, December 11, start the afternoon at . Braid a loaf for Shabbat, then head straight into the eighth night lighting.
