About this Event
Celebrating their 3-year anniversary with a special Christmas event in North Berwick, organisers from Live At The Law are now bringing two more much loved musicians to the seaside town.
An evening of festive fun with two of Scotland’s foremost performers: folk-inspired singer/songwriter Hannah Rarity and multi-instrumentalist Anna Massie. With their HannAnnaRama Christmas gigs now established as a firm favourite amongst folkie festive fixtures, the pair combine forces to bring you new takes on classic numbers and original material, all delivered with a warmth and humour that’s bound to get you in the festive spirit!
Come wearing your favourite festive jumper, sparkle, or santa hat, and get involved in the fun.

Hannah Rarity
For those who joined us when Hannah performed solo at Live At The Law, you know you’re in for a treat. A leading figure in the Scottish folk scene, Hannah Rarity is celebrated for her exceptional voice and dynamic musical presence. Since winning the prestigious BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year award in 2018, she has consistently impressed audiences and critics alike, leading her to collaborate with some of the most respected names in folk, such as Rura, Niteworks, Blazin’ Fiddles and Cherish the Ladies. Her solo albums, Neath the Gloaming Star (2018) and To Have You Near (2022), were both widely praised and shortlisted for Album of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards.
A versatile performer, she is in high demand as a collaborator, session vocalist, tutor, and MC, hosting Celtic Connections’ renowned Late Night Sessions & Brew and A Blether. “Not only has she a wonderful voice, she has gravitas.
