Our team will guide you as you use the seine net for a live fish survey, a simple but effective method for catching, identifying, and safely releasing local fish species. You'll get to see the process up close and learn what these catches tell us about the health of our waterbodies.
Come Prepared:
- Closed-toe shoes or water shoes
- Water-resistant and weather appropriate clothing
- Dry pair of clothes for an after-fishing change
- Water and snacks
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hats, etc.)
- Your enthusiasm and energy!
