About this Event
Calling all crafty people, creative hobbyists, and lovers of all things handmade!
Connection Club is hosting our first-ever Handmade Swap on Wednesday, Dec 2 @ Lille Bønne. We're bringing together local creatives for a cozy evening of swapping handmade treasures, meeting new people, and celebrating the magic of making things with your own two hands. Whether you're making gifts for friends and family, stocking up on one-of-a-kind holiday goodies, or just looking for an excuse to get crafty, this one's for you.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
💝 You'll be placed in a group of 6 creative folks. Each person brings 5 handmade items to exchange with the rest of their group. By the end of the night, you'll head home with 5 unique handmade goodies created by your fellow swappers!
💝 Think beaded jewelry, crocheted cuties, mini art prints, handmade cards, keychains, felt creations, tiny trinkets, and everything in between. If you made it with your hands, we want to see it! You don’t need to be a professional maker to participate. We just encourage you to bring items that you’d love to receive.
💝 Your 5 items should be the same type of creation (variations in colors, patterns, or designs are totally welcome!). When you register, we'll ask what you're planning to bring so we can curate groups with a fun variety of handmade treasures.
THE QUICK DETAILS:
📅 Wednesday, December 2 from 6-8 pm
📍 Lille Bønne Community Living Room
🎟️ Ticket required, $15 (+ fees) – includes a free tote bag!
A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES:
💝 All 5 items must be handmade by you! They can be identical or variations of the same creation. Please bring your (5) goodies finished and ready to swap.
💝 No food, please! While we love a homemade treat, we're keeping this swap to non-edible creations due to dietary restrictions and local health department regulations.
💝 Since every person is counting on receiving 5 items, please only register if you can commit to making and bringing all 5.
💝 Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event are eligible for a refund. After that date, tickets are nonrefundable due to the preparation and coordination required for each swap group.
ABOUT THE HOSTS:
✨ Connection Club is a mobile third space that curates immersive, hands-on experiences that encourage play, creativity, and connection. Connection Club reimagines the act of making as a communal ritual—one that can foster connection, nurture creativity, and remind us of our shared humanity. We host unique pop-up events and facilitated activations around Indianapolis, from art cafes and adult field trips to handmade swaps, cozy craft nights, pop-up activations, and more. Come meet new people and make something with your hands!
✨ Lille Bønne is a place for active connection. A community living room, Lille Bønne is an extension of your own home and a space where people come to spend the day. Lille Bønne features a cafe (because food is obviously at the center of everything), but also includes a studio space where people can take yoga classes, art classes, host private events, etc. It is a radically inclusive space that anyone can call home away from home.
THE FINE PRINT:
💸 We are accepting refunds for this event up to (14) days before the event or until November 18. If we sell out, we will open up refunded tickets to people on the waitlist.
