About this Event
Join us for an evening of creativity and community! In this hands-on pottery workshop, you'll learn how to make a pinch pot using one of the oldest pottery techniques in the world. We'll talk about the history of hand-built pottery and explore a few decorative styles inspired by traditional Appalachian folk pottery before you create a piece of your own.
After shaping your pot, you'll have time to decorate it with carved designs or painted details. Your finished piece will be taken off-site to be kiln fired and will be ready for pickup about two weeks after the event.
No experience is necessary! All materials are provided, and beginners are welcome. Join the ancient tradition of handmade pottery in this unique 90-minute workshop!
