🇵🇭 Create your own mini parol, a traditional Filipino lantern which symbolizes the star of Bethlehem and represents hope, faith, and the Christmas spirit.
💴 Each parol kit is $5 at the door. Cash or credit card accepted.
⏰ As a Come & Go event, you can drop in at any time, but allow enough time (45 min-1 hr) to assemble and decorate your parol to take home for the holidays.
🧑🧑🧒🧒 ALL AGES & FAMILIES WELCOME!
👩🏫 A guide will do intermittent demonstrations throughout this flexible event with instruction sheets at the tables to share.
✂️All materials to construct and decorate your parol will be supplied.
🍪 Complimentary light snacks & drinks will be provided.
🤤 Instead of a Makers Mocktail, this session we will have a special Makers Munchie— Ube Coconut Chex Mix!
🇵🇭 All proceeds benefit the Filipino Cultural Center Foundation, a nonprofit that helps support the Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City and its continued efforts to better our community. Thank you for your support!
