ProgrammeGeorge Frideric Handel Messiah

Handel’s Messiah is nothing short of a powerfully operatic experience in its telling the story of the life of Christ.
Soloists narrate the musical drama with profound emotion, while the choir’s role is akin to a Greek chorus, jumping from anguished mourning to dramatic rage, absolute cruelty and of course, uplifting the listener with the triumphant shout of joy that is the Hallelujah! Chorus. From birth to the gates of Heaven itself, this story is never more impactful than when told by a professional orchestra, soloists and full choir. Definitely a date for your Christmas calendar.
