Handel's Messiah

Few works have inspired audiences for as long or as profoundly as George Frideric Handel's Messiah. For nearly three centuries, this remarkable oratorio has stood as one of the greatest achievements in choral music.

Performed in the beautiful setting of historic St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Live Arts Maryland's annual presentation features chorus, orchestra, and outstanding soloists performing this timeless masterpiece. From the joyful proclamation of "For Unto Us a Child Is Born" to the triumphant "Hallelujah" Chorus, Messiah continues to move audiences with its beauty, drama, and enduring message of hope.
