About this Event
This 8-week class is designed for students, ages 16 and up, who have limited or no experience working with clay. Students will learn how to create pots using coils, pinched forms and slabs. Instruction includes demonstrations and time to work with teacher guidance and assistance. Pots made may include press plates, vases, mugs and more. Additionally, students will learn about decorating and firing pottery and will glaze their work to take home towards the end of class.
Dates: Wednesdays from 6:00 - 8:30pm.
December: 2, 9, 16, 30 (pre-Christmas off)
January: 6, 13, 20, 27
Clay, shelf space and free firing for up to 10 pots is included.
Please wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty and bring an old towel with you. Plan to tie back long hair and trim nails so they are on the shorter side.
Enrolled students have access to the studio anytime as long as a member lets you in.
