Location: Concordia University Irvine

Event Starts as early as 2:30pm, depending on registration numbers
Public Concert at 6:00pm
We invite you and your bell ensemble to be part of our 2027 high school and collegiate handbell invitational on the campus of Concordia University, Irvine. It will include a mass ring performance, optional adjudication/workshop sessions, and a combined handbell concert featuring your ensemble as well as Concordia's handbell ensembles. The intention of this invitational is to learn from other directors, experience the greater handbell community, and perform for each other.
For those of you who have attended our invitationals in the past, I welcome you to join us again! And if you have never attended a CUI invitational, please let me know if you would like to attend this special event, and I would be glad to walk you through the details.
Ensembles will need to bring their own handbells, pads, cloths, etc (we have extra equipment - be in touch if you need help). We will provide tables.
Time:
The Concert will be at 6:00pm with time for warmups, adjudication, and the rehearsal of the mass ring piece earlier in the day. Once registration closes, I will contact you to confirm an appropriate arrival and warm up time earlier in the day. If you have specific timing issues, please in in touch and we can likely work it out.
