HANABIE. is a Tokyo-based all-girl rock band formed in 2015 by YUKINA, MATSURI, and HETTSU while they were still in high school. With drummer CHIKA joining in 2023, the band established its current four-member lineup. Blending crushing metalcore riffs, powerful screams, infectious hooks, and a uniquely Japanese sense of color and chaos, HANABIE. have created their own unmistakable style, which they call “HARAJUKU CORE” Since making their major-label debut in 2023, HANABIE. have rapidly built a global following. Their first world tour took them across 17 countries for 45 shows, followed in 2024 by appearances at some of the world’s biggest rock festivals, including Rock am Ring, Download Festival, Nova Rock, Resurrection Fest, and Lollapalooza Chicago, where they made history as the first Japanese all-female band to perform on the festival’s main stage. In 2025, HANABIE. continued their international rise with an extensive North American co-headline tour and another major European festival run. Later that year, they returned to Europe for a 23-date headline tour, selling out 17 shows and drawing approximately 25,000 fans across the tour. Their momentum continued into 2026 with another successful North American tour, while the band also expanded their activities into Latin America and strengthened their presence at home in Japan. With their explosive live performances, genre-defying sound, and unmistakable visual identity, HANABIE. have grown from a Tokyo high school band into one of Japan’s most exciting new-generation rock acts on the international stage. HANABIE. are ready for their next chapter.
