🐹 Hamster Adoption Event — Home Before the Holidays!📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026
🕘 9 AM–12 PM
📍 Petco — 1935 S Koeller St, Oshkosh, WI 54902
💜 Sponsored by Petco Love
Our hamsters are still looking for homes! Join J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue for a morning focused on helping these little animals find people who will give them the care they deserve.
**Adoption fees for hamsters will be waived at this event. In lieu of fees, we’re asking for donations to help keep the rescue afloat.** Your support helps cover food, supplies, and daily animal care.
We have taken in more than 200 animals across five groups: parakeets, turtles, bearded dragons, ball pythons, and leopard geckos. We’re working to find them homes before the holidays while also finding homes for the many hamsters in our care.
Thinking about welcoming a hamster? Plan ahead for housing, supplies, and ongoing care. Interested adopters must have an approved adoption application, and a valid appointment. Same day adoptions are not guaranteed. Please see www.jraar.org for more information.
