Terms and Conditions:

  • Everyone taking part in a HBN Netwalk activity does so at their own risk.
  • We do not employ qualified guides or first aiders on any of our events. The Netwalk works on the same basis of being a group of friends who go out walking together who invite others to join them on this basis.
  • Event organisers and event leaders assume no responsibility for anyone attending any of the Netwalks. Netwalk organisers and walk leaders will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any Netwalk event or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.
  • When you join a walk, you indicate that you accept these conditions and accept that no legal liability is accepted by event organisers or event leaders in the event of accident or injury, however caused.
  • Participants in Netwalks are reminded that outdoor activities frequently need specialist equipment (boots, waterproofs, etc) and the organiser does not provide these. Participants are responsible for assessing their own risk, the safety of themselves and the suitability of any equipment used. Any Medical Conditions that may affect the participants during the walk should be notified to the walk leader prior to the start of the walk.
  • While accepting no responsibility or liability, for walks and other outdoor events, the event host or walk leader may, at their discretion, not admit you to join the walk or other event if in their opinion you are ill-equipped for the terrain and weather conditions.
  • Well behaved dogs are allowed on walks but must be kept under close control at all times and on a lead where necessary or requested by the walk leader.
  • Please note that legal responsibility for any incidents caused by dogs lies with the dog owner.
  • The minimum age that we can accept is 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
  • Any matters of concern should be directed to [email protected]
  • The programme does not discriminate against any attendees, but we might be unable to cater for people with special requirements. Every effort will be made to make the walks and the networking coffee as accessible as possible.
  • HBN may record and photograph the Netwalks and its attendees. By attending the programme, you consent to your image being used by HBN for PR, communication, and marketing purposes. If you do not want your image shared it is your responsibility to make the HBN team aware of this before attending, or at the start of the event.
  • If possible, please arrive 10 minutes before the walk starts - we leave at 10.00 am prompt and unfortunately we are unable to provide location information once the walk has started.
  • We can't wait to see you!
