About this Event
Lancaster’s own Hammer Creek Bluegrass is bringing their hard-driving, high lonesome sound to the unique setting of Mulberry Art Studios. Housed in a beautifully repurposed early-1900s warehouse, this one-of-a-kind venue provides the perfect backdrop for a night of authentic bluegrass, live energy, and community.
Enjoy an evening filled with the timeless sounds of simpler days, from powerful banjo and tight harmonies to foot-tapping favorites that keep the tradition alive. The gallery will be open throughout the event as part of Lancaster’s December First Friday, giving you the chance to experience live music surrounded by incredible local art.
This event is BYOB for age-appropriate guests, with additional refreshments available for purchase.
About the Band – Hammer Creek Bluegrass
Rooted in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Hammer Creek honors the pioneers of the genre—Flatt & Scruggs, The Stanley Brothers, and Bill Monroe—while embracing the influence of modern greats like Del McCoury and J.D. Crowe. With heartfelt harmonies, driving rhythm, and that unmistakable high lonesome sound, they deliver bluegrass that’s both timeless and alive. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to the music, Hammer Creek brings people together through honest songs, real instruments, and true bluegrass spirit.
Come out for a night of music, art, tradition, and pickin’ done right.
Help us bring a presence of Bluegrass music to the growing Lancaster music scene.
