Kick off Halton Eco Fest 2026 with a full day of inspiring, family-friendly, and completely free activities! Drop in anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to get creative, learn more about local wildlife, and help reimagine the future of our green spaces.
What’s On – Saturday 5th September (11am – 3pm):
- Halton Nature Watch: Create cyanotypes, craft shield bugs and woodlice, or try out slug-themed coloring activities. Representatives from Halton’s Environmental Services and Animal Teach will also be on hand to answer all your ecological questions!
- Plastic Shed: Join Caitlin on the mural trail commissioned for Eco Fest and help create a vibrant, nature-themed mural using plastic bottle tops!
- Digital Arts Box: Reimagine Halton’s popular locations through an environmental lens using iPads and Procreate. Add green spaces, solar panels, sustainable buildings, and ponds to local photos! No digital art experience required—the team will guide you step-by-step.
- Nature Connect: Join Janine for relaxing creative activities including leaf printing, clay crafting, a nature writing invitation, and a guided taster walk in forest bathing.
- Eco Church: Say hello to the Eco Church team and check out their display of wonderful items crafted from recycled and upcycled materials.
