Friday, October 31 | 8–11PM📍 Chef Life at Chef’s Market
🎟️ FREE SHOW
This Halloween, we’re turning the Chef Life stage over to Slingshot on Mars for a night of live music, improvisation and plenty of unexpected turns.
Slingshot on Mars is a Richmond-based jam-rock band built around musicians you may already recognize from across the Virginia jam scene. Members have ties to Last Fair Deal, The Lawn Boys and Night Allowance, bringing together players with roots in Grateful Dead, Phish and psychedelic jam music.
Expect original songs, eclectic covers and extended improvisational jams pulling from rock, funk, blues, newgrass and psychedelia. Their live shows are designed to stretch out — songs can open up, change direction and turn into something completely different before finding their way home.
If you’re into the Grateful Dead, Phish, Allman Brothers or simply love seeing talented musicians get onstage and JAM, this is your Halloween show.
