SOUTHERN ACT CATCHMENT GROUP HAS GONE ROGUE THIS HALLOWEEN!For one night only, we're trading wholesome environmental volunteering for something a little more sinister...
 THE HORRIFYING DETAILS
Saturday 31 October – Halloween
5:00pm – 7:00pm
Pine Island North Playground
The Plan: Help us bring life back to the Murrumbidgee corridor by planting native vegetation to restore habitat and support the local ecosystem.
DRESS CODE:
Feel free to come as your usual terrifying self, or a costume if your feeling festive. However Fake claws and skeletal hands are unlikely to improve your planting technique.
Children are very welcome. Goblins, ghouls and ghosts will be tolerated.
WHAT TO BRING:
A water bottle, gloves if you have them,
We'll provide all the tools. No shovels need to be stolen from the cemetery.
FINDING THE SCENE OF THE CRIME:
Look for the SACTCG teardrop flag near the Pine Island North Playground
Parking: There is a rough dirt track off northbound Athllon Drive, just past the traffic lights near the Leisure Centre. This track may not be suitable for all vehicles.
Alternatively, park at the Tuggeranong Leisure Centre or along Anketell Street and cross Athllon Drive safely at the traffic lights.
No experience necessary. No guarantees you'll make it out alive. MWAHAHA!
This activity has received funding from the Australian Government's Urban Rivers and Catchments Program, with assistance from the ACT Government.
