About this Event
Chester Monte, the country's most talked-about politician, was found dead on a quiet street just hours before a live TV debate that could have won him the Lincoln Mayoral election. No M**der weapon in sight, no witnesses, and six people with every reason to want him gone.
This Halloween, it's up to you and your team to solve this M**der case.
I'm Puzzled is bringing the UK's biggest outdoor M**der mystery to Lincoln - a M**der mystery trail through the Bailgate, the Cathedral quarter, Steep Hill and the Brayford, where you'll gather evidence, question suspects, and piece together exactly what happened to Chester Monte.
What To Expect
Grab your mobile, download our app, and get ready to solve a M**der mystery. Your team will need to solve puzzles around Lincoln, based on real history and interesting finds around the city.
- An outdoor trail through Lincoln's streets, shops and landmarks
- Solved via our app, downloaded to your phone before you start
- Around 2.5km, split into 15 stops - designed to be an easy walk for most people
- Takes 2–3 hours to complete
- Teams of up to 6 (kids play free and aren't included in that count)
- Turn up any time between 11am–6pm, Saturday 31st October or Sunday 1st November
- Detective goodie bags & lots of sweets
- Treats from local businesses
- Lots of people in detective fancy dress
Alongside the M**der mystery, you'll get a challenge sheet featuring puzzles built around parts of Lincoln BIG's Big Spook festival. A bonus challenge for extra bragging rights, and a few extra prizes up for grabs for correct answers!
There'll also be a live leaderboard on the day, so competitive teams can chase the top spot! - or if that's not your teams vibe, take it at a relaxed pace and make a stop or two at some of the local businesses we're working with along the route.

Families, friends, or colleagues looking for something different this Halloween. Fancy dress isn't required (though we won't stop you!). Tickets are sold per group, so it's one price whether it's 2 of you or 6 - kids aren't included in the 6 player count!
This event falls right inside Lincoln BIG's Big Spook festival, so you'll experience plenty more going on around the city as you play.
Dates & times
Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 2026, 11am–6pm both days. Teams of up to 6 on one ticket (kids play free and are not included in this 6). You can turn up anytime between 11am-6pm and the trail takes 2-3 hours to complete!
