About this Event

Halloween Masquerade Milwaukee: The Hollow Hour

After midnight, no one remembers anyone’s true face.”

Step into The Hollow Hour, an intimate Halloween masquerade created for conversation, atmosphere, and meaningful connection.

Presented by Velour Masque Society, this limited-capacity evening brings together 45 guests inside a historic Milwaukee ballroom for a refined social experience inspired by gothic elegance, old-world mystery, and the tradition of the masquerade.

This is not designed as a high-volume party.

Instead, the evening moves through hosted introductions, small-group conversation, open social time, atmospheric music, and a dedicated portrait setting illuminated with flameless candlelight.

Guests are encouraged to arrive ready to meet new people, enjoy the setting, and experience an evening where identity becomes just a little more mysterious.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• An intimate gathering limited to 45 guests

• Gothic-luxury ballroom atmosphere

• Hosted introductions designed to make solo attendance comfortable

• Small-group conversation moments

• Open social and networking time

• Low-volume atmospheric music

• A dedicated flameless candlelight portrait setting

• An event-owned loaner mask fitting station for guests who arrive without a mask

• Reserved social areas for selected registration levels

The focus of the evening is conversation and connection rather than a crowded dance-floor environment.

THE MASK

A masquerade mask is part of the evening’s dress standard.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own mask.

A limited number of event-owned masks will also be available at the mask fitting station for temporary use during the event.

Loaner masks remain property of the event and must be returned before departure.

DRESS STANDARD

Semi-formal evening attire + masquerade mask

Elegant, dark, vintage-inspired, gothic, minimalist, or classic formal styling is welcome.

Full theatrical costumes are not required.

Please avoid masks or accessories that significantly restrict vision, movement, or safe interaction with other guests.
