Don your favorite costume, or not, and join us for a fun morning of Mahjong open play, while also supporting a worthy organization!Chapter NC, P.E.O. of Columbia, MO is hosting this event to raise funds for the international projects supported by the women of P.E.O.
If you want to know more, go here: peointernational.org.
Basically, we provide grants, loans and scholarships to women who are pursuing all levels of higher education and who are promoting peace around the world.
Mid Mo Mahjong will be our host and facilitator for this event. All sets will be provided, but please bring your own card, if you have one. Some extras will be available, if needed.
While we won't have a beginner's lesson, all levels are welcome. If you've played at all...come on!
And, if you'd like a lesson or two before you come to this event, please join us at Serendipity every Monday evening at 6:00. Register with Mid Mo Mahjong. Or, give Elizabeth a yell at Serendipity, and she'll work out some way for you to learn.
It's fun! Believe me!
We're providing yummy small bites, drinks and some really great raffle prizes, including a whole brand new Mahjong set!
