Museum staff will guide you through the lantern-lit rooms of this 19th century house, sharing tales of Windsor past.
Over the years, staff and visitors alike have reported unusual encounters while in the house such as hearing footsteps or catching sight of figures in the corner of their eyes. Is the house haunted? You’ll have to come and look for yourself!
Limited tickets available, bookings essential.
ACCESS:
Howe House is a heritage building including stairs, low ceilings and doorways, and uneven floors that may result in certain areas of the house being inaccessible to some visitors. Please let us know if you have any specific access requirements by emailing: [email protected]
PARKING:
Available at Baker Street Car Park and Kable Street Car Park - free, time limits apply. Untimed parking avaialble on nearby streets including The Terrace.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
- Your attendance at events supported by Hawkesbury City Council may be digitally recorded by staff through photographs and video. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers.By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
- No commercial photography is permitted at this event.
- Photography for public or promotional use is not permitted.
- Photographing children without their or their parent/guardian’s consent is strictly prohibited.
- If these conditions are breached, you may be asked to leave the event.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
· An acompanying adult must be onsite during the workshop or event . All participants must be accompanied by a guardian who must remain onsite and with the participant during the program.
· Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.
· If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the programme.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
· To receive a full refund (minus an admin fee), please cancel your ticket or notify us at least 48 hours before the scheduled event. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.
· Refunds will not be given if participants change their mind, or simply forget to attend the event. For exceptional circumstances, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Gallery & Museum Coordinator.
· A refund can take up to 7 working days to process after the event date (due to bank transfer times). Cash payment refunds can take up to 6 weeks to process.
