Our annual HALLOWEEN HORROR DOUBLE FEATURE returns! This year, we present a special anniversary celebration of two of the best classic horror movies ever made, with incomparable performances by Lon Chaney, Jr., Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and more!First up, celebrate the 95th anniversary of Universal's timeless FRANKENSTEIN (1931), with the one-and-only Boris Karloff as Dr. Frankenstein's unforgettable monster. Follow an obsessed scientist (Colin Clive) as he attempts to create life by assembling a creature from body parts of the deceased. Aided by his loyal misshapen assistant, Fritz (Dwight Frye), Frankenstein succeeds in animating his monster, but it soon wreaks havoc across the village.
Next up, we pay homage to THE WOLF MAN (1941), celebrating 85 years of entertaining moviegoers! This beloved gothic horror follows Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney, Jr.) has he returns to Wales after the death of his brother and reconciles with his father (Claude Rains). While there, he visits an antique shop and, hoping to impress the attractive shopkeeper (Evelyn Ankers), buys a silver walking cane. That same night he kills a wolf with it, only to later learn that he actually killed a man (Bela Lugosi). Lo and behold, Larry has himself become a werewolf in the process.
