Start your full-day adventure by experiencing railroading the way it used to be, inside fully restored vintage railcars carefully preserved by the Austin Steam Train Association and its dedicated volunteers.
Guests are invited to walk through the train, enjoy refreshments and souvenirs from the concession car, and appreciate the details that bring this rolling museum to life. A two-hour layover in Burnet offers time to explore the historic town square, share lunch, or visit Wedding Oak Winery before reboarding for the afternoon ride home.
As the locomotive eases the train back toward Cedar Park, start your Halloween off right with a Train or Treat after the ride! We will be passing out candy and treats, with a few special character guests to meet and take pictures with before heading out to wherever your next Halloween stop may be!

This ride is 66 miles round trip with a 2-hour layover in Burnet.
• Doors open at 8:00 AM
• Departs Cedar Park at 9:00 AM
• Layover in Burnet from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Returns to Cedar Park at 3:30 PM
