Halloween Farm Mystery: A Family Adventure at Mill Hollow WorksSomething strange is coming to the farm this Halloween.
Join us for a free, family-friendly Halloween event filled with mystery, old-time games, farm magic, strange characters, mask painting, hay wagon rides, and plenty of Halloween mischief.
At the heart of the day is The Case of the Cows That Neighed, an original interactive Farm Mystery where kids and their grown-ups will travel across the farm from scene to scene, gathering clues, meeting mysterious characters, and helping solve a Halloween mystery before time runs out.
This is not a haunted house. It’s a playful, theatrical farm adventure for families — spooky enough to feel special, silly enough for kids, and funny enough for adults.
✨ What’s Happening
Guided Farm Mystery Tours
Families will move through the mystery together as a group, either walking or riding by tractor hay wagon depending on availability and preference.
Free Event — Registration Required
We’ll offer three Farm Mystery Tour times. Please register for your preferred time and plan to stay with that tour group.
Tour Times:
12:00
1:30
3:00
Farm Investigator Training Course
Before the mystery begins, kids can collect stamps in a small field notebook by completing simple, old-fashioned Halloween games and activities.
Games may include pumpkin ring toss, crooked pumpkin bowling, corn cob toss, witch’s mystery bags, fortune string pull, and more.
Free Mask Painting
Kids can paint and decorate a Halloween mask before their Farm Mystery Tour and wear it during the adventure.
Optional Halloween Mischief Broom Workshop
For $10, participants can make a small handmade Halloween Mischief Broom — perfect for sweeping away cobwebs, crumbs, and suspicious farm mischief. Space and supplies are limited.
🍎 Halloween Treats
We’re hoping to offer candy apples or taffy apples during the event. More details coming soon.
Bring the kids, come early for games and mask painting, and get ready to help us solve the mystery.
The farm is acting strange.
The shadows are up to something.
And we’re going to need some brave young investigators.
