Do you have lots of old costumes in your house? Need some new costumes for the kids? How about we all swap? Save some money and give that old costume new life! Drop off gently-used, clean costumes and accessories at the library between October 1 and October 8. On October 8 from 4-6 pm, you'll have the first opportunity to pick up new-to-you costumes. Any remaining costumes will be available for browsing and pick-up on October 9 and 10 during our open hours. There is no cost to participate. All are welcome to drop off or pick up costumes or accessories, and do not need to show up with items in order to participate.We cannot accept the following:Dirty, broken, ripped, or damaged items, items with possible cutting, choking, or lead hazards, or items that are subject to recall. Persons taking part in costume swap do so at their own risk. The Houston Public Library accepts no responsibility for items swapped and gives no warranty as to the condition of any items, nor does it assume responsibility for any injury or illness resulting from items swapped. Any items remaining after October 10 will be donated.
