Saturday, October 31, 2–5 PMThis is it, the Halloween event your dog has been waiting all year for. Costumes, prizes, races, and a whole afternoon built around your pup having the best day of fall.
Costumes, costumes, costumes. Our Dog Costume Contest has categories for Spookiest, Most Creative, and Best Duo or Group, judged across small, medium, and large divisions, so every pup has a real shot at the spotlight. Lots of prizes, lots of ways to win.
Then it's off to the track for Small Dog Races with Skyway Dachshund Rescue. Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Corgis, and more line up to see who's fastest. Grab a drink, find a spot by the rail, and cheer on the little racers.
Add in photo ops and goodie bags while supplies last, and you've got a full afternoon of Halloween fun that burns off every last bit of puppy energy. Pups head home tired and ready to crash, which means you're free for your own Saturday night plans.
Normal dog admission and park requirements apply.
Already out for the downtown Farmers Market Dog-a-ween parade that morning? One of our owners is a guest judge there, and we're proud to sponsor the prizes for that event too. But the real party, the one your pup will remember, is here at Dog Bar Sarasota that afternoon.

* Sign-ups on site, free to spectate. Dogs must have memberships or day passes to enter (just like usual).
* All visiting dogs must be registered at www.dbsrq.com and have up to date vaccinations. We also require spay/neuter over 1 year of age.
