What colors do you think of when you think of Halloween? Black and orange? Us too! That's why we're putting on an adoption event for all of our black, orange, or black AND orange adoptable pets! Starting on Thursday, October 29th and going through Sunday, November 1st, we're lowering the adoption fees for all of our black and/or orange adoptable pets!
Specifically, we will be lowering our adoption fees for our black or orange cats to $31, our black or orange dogs to $131, our black AND orange cats to $13 and our black AND orange dogs to $113.
Adopters must still follow all normal adoption processes to adopt a pet and pay for any additional required purchases, such as a City of Janesville License, a cat carrier, a leash/collar, etc.
Pets at off-site locations (like Petco) are not included as a part of this event. Additionally, pets in our Adoption Guaranteed Program are also not included in this event.
In case this event brings up anything feelings about the myth surrounding adopting black cats in October, please check out this article for more information on why this is not something to be worried about and only stops pets from going home again: https://www.operationkindness.org/breaking-down-halloween-black-cat-myths/
