Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to K*ll again; while Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasance) hunts for Michael in the hope of ending his grisly murder spree. Loomis is ultimately unsuccessful, as evidenced by the twelve-and-counting sequels, reboots and remakes that followed.
