Black Women’s Magic Comes Alive With Somatic Movement & Rest Up Yoga In Heated Marquee By Firelight In Nature. 100% Queer Affirming.About this Event
Before you book note this gathering is for women of recent African and African diasporic heritage who identify as Black or mixed Black and share the lived experience of being racialised by their skin and visible African heritage. Repeated experiences of being watched, assessed, stereotyped, questioned, excluded, harmed, harassed or required to manage how others perceive you and your assumed community, can affect how you inhabit your own body, navigate space and down regulate your nervous system.
Hallowed Queen invites Black Women to channel our magic together.
We lean into the support of glorious nature in a heated marquee, by firelight.
Join Black Women who want to explore the healing power of our fire and rest, using intuitive movement, meditation and restorative yoga in a queer affirming space. And it's only 20 minutes by direct train from London Bridge! (Exact location given to ticket holders only).
(Note A few low cost bursaries are available by contacting the organiser directly to apply).

Beloved Black (& mixed heritage) Women of African descent, join our unique Hallowed Queen day retreat of our magic. Somatic movement, healing rituals & meditation will be led by Oya Heart Warrior and restorative, deep resting yoga will be led by our wonderful guest teacher Yvonne Henrietta (pictured with me below).
Dance freely by firelight, rest deeply in the heated marque. Soothe your mind and open the gateway to your body’s magic, through somatic movement, voice sounding and 'rest up yourself' yoga. Bring the medicine of abundant nature and Black Joy into your body and mind. This ‘Loving Black’ space, is unapologetically dedicated to Black Women's Lives Thriving.
This is a queer friendly, respectful, sober, sacred zone.
Every part of you is welcomed here. The movement can be untidy, off beat & surprise you. Your sounding can be quiet or loud. The rest can be deep or wriggly. Nobody is here to judge.
We give permission to speak FREEDOM through movement and stillness.
You are guided into your own body’s wisdom and visceral expression through meditation, rest, sound, music and guided attention to how your body and emotions are moving you..
This is a journey to your authentic self, with people who validate you. This can have a profound affect on our collective healing.
Sound like you? Sign up and join like minded Black Women who want to reclaim our right to move and express ourselves freely in a Black affirming space
