📢 Call for Nominations: 2027 Haliwa-Saponi Tribal Awards BanquetThe Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe will begin accepting nominations for the 2027 Tribal Awards Banquet on October 5, 2026. This is an opportunity to recognize individuals whose dedication, leadership, service, and contributions have made a lasting impact on our community.
📝 Nomination forms will be available beginning Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Chief W.R. Richardson Government Complex during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Forms may also be requested by calling (252) 586-4017.
⏰ All nominations must be submitted by Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
🏆 Tentative Awards Banquet Date:
Sunday, January 24, 2027, at 3:00 PM
(Inclement weather date: Sunday, January 31, 2027)
Award recipients will be notified in early January.
