INVITATION FOR SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION – MALAYSIA HALAL TRADE MISSION TO PAKISTAN 2026We have the honour to refer to the proposed Malaysia Halal Trade Mission to Pakistan 2026, scheduled to take place in Karachi from 28 October to 1 November 2026, organised by HAL Fintech Advisor Malaysia, in collaboration with relevant Malaysian and Pakistani halal industry partners.
The mission is intended to strengthen bilateral trade and investment linkages between Malaysia and Pakistan, with a particular focus on the halal economy, halal trade, Islamic finance, food and beverages, healthcare, tourism, digital solutions, manufacturing and other strategic sectors.
Among the proposed engagements during the mission are:
1) Business and Government Engagement
Meetings with relevant Pakistani ministries, government agencies, trade promotion bodies and industry stakeholders to understand market requirements, regulatory considerations and opportunities for Malaysian businesses.
2) Halal Industry Engagement
Engagement with the World Halal Council, International Halal Certification Pakistan, Halal Development Council and other relevant halal industry organisations to explore opportunities for cooperation, market access, certification and capacity building.
3) Business Matching and B2B Meetings
Facilitation of business-to-business meetings between Malaysian exporters and suitable Pakistani companies, distributors, importers, investors and industry players.
4) Engagement with Malaysian Trade Representatives
We would also be pleased to coordinate a visit and meeting with the MATRADE officer at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi on 29 October 2026. This engagement would provide an opportunity to better understand the Pakistani market, including current market requirements and business opportunities, while facilitating further engagement with relevant Pakistani businesses, industry stakeholders and organisations.
5) High-Level Engagement
Subject to the availability and confirmation of the relevant authorities, the delegation would welcome an opportunity to participate in a high-level engagement involving appropriate Pakistani government representatives and business leaders.
6) Trade and Investment Networking
The programme will also seek to establish longer-term commercial relationships between Malaysian and Pakistani companies, including opportunities for distribution partnerships, joint ventures, investment, technology cooperation and halal ecosystem development.
