Join Brian "ExFactor" of ExFactor Expressions for a reading of the haiku featured on the artwork Shiki V1 (translated: Four seasons). There will be an artist summary, four readings, and a brief presentation on the history and format of haiku.About the artist: Brian (he/him) has been a Japan-enthusiast since childhood, later discovering that his birth family has Japanese lineage which furthered his passion to know more about the culture. He spent time studying the language before making his first trip during college and continued to explore different aspects of the culture independently. This past year provided an unexpected reconnection with haiku and inspired an eight-piece acrylic on canvas series that will be on display at Midwest Movement Collective during the 2026 ArtPrize.
