🇹🇭 👇🏻Led by saxophonist Pathorn Srikaranonda, HAI brings together four musicians with backgrounds spanning modern jazz, fusion, funk and experimental music.
Previously known as 500 Miles High, the Bangkok quartet takes its repertoire from composers including Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Sam Rivers and Thelonious Monk, leaving plenty of room for improvisation and the musicians' own interpretations.
Pathorn's long career includes performing with King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Au-Sau Friday Band, studying composition and saxophone in the United States and Britain, and appearing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. He's joined by guitarist Iñigo Mantecon, bassist Matt Dickun and drummer Jonathan Galvin, all experienced performers with their own recording projects and collaborations.
