UK-based Aussie slide guitar firebrand Gwyn Ashton is bringing raw electric band fury and stripped-back acoustic blues to the stage.Celebrating 50 years on the guitar, Ashton hits hard with Grease Bucket (his 10th album) and the solo-soaked Mojosoul, plus the ripping new single “Get Outta Town” featuring Richard Fortus of Guns N' Roses.
A former axe-man for Stevie Wright, Swanee and Band of Friends, Ashton’s road-tested blues-rock résumé runs deep—tours with Status Quo, The Yardbirds, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Mick Taylor and more.
“South Australia’s greatest ambassador for blues-rock.” — Billboard
