Establishing themselves as alternative, slacker rockers, Gwep is an up-and-coming bilingual band from Newport. Their debut EP: Tarw engages with the post-industrialist tensions of home while tentatively reflecting on growing into adulthood. Firm believers in the art of DIY, Gwep takes on a lofi sound having been likened to Silver Jews and early Pixies.
Appearing on stages across Wales this year as ‘Yr Argraff’, Gwep is taking a new direction with the release of their EP this December.
