Tha am pròiseact Guthan nan Eilean seachad air 21 bliadhna a dh'aois a-nis. Le 500+ bhidiothan air an dèanamah thairis air na bliadhnaichean tha UHI air tasglann shònraichte a chruthachadh gus dèanamh cinnteach nach tèid iad air chall, cuide ris na clàraidhean audio a chaidh a dhèanamh cuideachd agus na tar-sgrìobhaidhean agus pàipearan eile a chaidh a sgrìobhadh mun phròiseict. Gus an leasachadh ùr seo a chomharrachadh, thèid "oidhche fhilmichean" a chumail aig a' chulturlann air 23/11/26, a' tòiseachadh aig 7pm, far am bi cothrom ann eisimpleirean bhon tasglann ùr fhaicinn air an "sgrion airgid", agus ceistean a chur air an sgioba a thog an cruinneachadh.

The Island Voices project is now over 21 years old. With 500+ videos made over the years, UHI has created a dedicated archive to ensure they are not lost, along with the audio recordings that have also been made and the transcripts and other papers written about the project.
To celebrate this new development, a "film night" will be held at the Culturlann on 23/11/26, starting at 7pm, where there will be an opportunity to view examples from the new archive on the "silver screen", and ask questions of the team that built the collection.
