Join me for an early-morning seascape photography workshop at Gunton, just north of Lowestoft, the most easterly point in Britain.We’ll meet before sunrise and photograph the changing light, rising tide, waves, old sea defences and groynes along this characterful stretch of the East Coast.
The session is suitable for photographers who want practical help with:
- Coastal compositions
- Camera settings and exposure
- Creative shutter speeds
- Long exposures and moving water
- Filters and focusing in low light
- Protecting highlights around sunrise
- Choosing lenses and viewpoints
I’ll be photographing alongside the group, explaining the compositions and settings I’m considering. You can ask as many questions as you like, receive direct help with your camera or work more independently.
We’ll also stop for a sausage sandwich, or vegetarian alternative, and a hot drink at the van, all included in the price.
You can also walk (20 mins) from the car park to nearby Ness Point, the most easterly point in the UK, for sunrise before joining us at Gunton.
