The Archdiocese of St. Louis Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, in partnership with Guns to Gardens St. Louis and the Giddings Lovejoy Presbytery Public Witness & DRAWP Teams, will host a Guns to Gardens firearm recycling event on Saturday, September 26, 2026.Community members wishing to anonymously and safely surrender unwanted firearms are invited to bring unloaded guns only, placed securely in the trunk of their vehicle, and drive through the drop-off area. No ammunition will be accepted. Individuals may only bring firearms they intend to surrender.
As a thank-you for participating, each person who recycles a gun will receive $100 in Aldi gift cards per firearm (limit 2), while supplies last.
This event is also supported by national partner organizations of the Guns to Gardens movement, including the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and RAWtools.
