The event will bring together some of the Bay Area’s talented and beloved musicians for an evening of electrifying performances, special musical reunions, silent auctions, and plenty of surprises — all supporting a wonderful cause: helping children discover the life-changing gift of music.
AN INCREDIBLE LINEUP OF BAY AREA TALENT!
OUR EMCEE HOST FOR THE NIGHT: BRYAN GALLO! Emmy Award-winning television host and media personality Bryan Gallo will join the Guitars ’N’ Kids fundraiser, bringing his signature energy and passion for community service. Known as the most beloved Weather Man in the Bay Area on KTVU 2 FOX and host on Like it or Not, along with his work on NBC’s Desert Living and as an emcee at major entertainment events, Bryan has also supported organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the American Red Cross, and MDA.
Cradle III
Cradle III is a vintage classic rock band with Sam Lage on lead vocals & harmonica, Craig Batchelder on guitar & vocals, and Todd Heller on guitar & vocals. We have been playing music together since the early 1990's and are now a three-piece acoustic band. We had the privilege of sharing the stage with musical legends such as Foghat, Pat Travers, Great White, Molly Hatchet, Dave Meniketti (Y&T) and many others back in early 2000's when we were a full five-piece band known as "CRADLE". Our latest album called "Mama Sayz" is reflective of our current acoustic sound including original material and classic rock covers.
THE BREEDLOVES & FRIENDS
Led by singer-songwriters and musical partners Jay Kirkland and Barbara Gorin, The Breedloves & Friends deliver an exciting blend of original music, creatively reinvented covers, and musical chemistry that has captivated Bay Area audiences for years. Joining Jay and Barbara are two accomplished Bay Area musicians: Ron Neuhauser on drums and Danny Cronan on bass, bringing a powerful rhythm section, musical depth, and dynamic energy to The Breedloves & Friends’ signature sound. One of the band’s standout attractions is Jay “The Wildman” Kirkland’s electrifying ukulele artistry! Inspired by virtuosos Jake Shimabukuro and Feng E, Jay brings lightning-fast riffs, remarkable technique, and a rock ’n’ roll edge to the instrument, leaving audiences amazed at what four strings can do! Known for their dynamic performances and distinctive arrangements, and twisted covers, The Breedloves acoustic duo have performed at the prestigious NAMM Show three times (2018, 2019, and 2023), frequent panel guests on KTVU FOX 2 “Like it or Not” and were recently invited by Guitar Center to showcase their music at its inaugural Local Legends event in Concord. Their expanded band, The Breedloves & Friends, brings together talented musicians and a contagious love of music that makes every performance unique.
EAST BAY SOUP KITCHEN
Straight out of Concord, East Bay Soup Kitchen serves up a high-energy musical feast of rock, funk, punk, and blues! Drawing inspiration from the explosive East Bay music scene of the early 1990s, this entertaining group combines original music, crowd-pleasing covers, and an irresistible sense of fun. Known for their playful culinary theme, infectious grooves, and lively stage presence, East Bay Soup Kitchen knows how to cook up a show that keeps audiences dancing! What makes this fundraiser even more special is Head Chef Clint Burnett’s BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!
THE REUNION OF RED HOUSES OF THE HOLY — A LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE
One of the evening’s most anticipated highlights will be the exciting reunion of Red Houses of the Holy, performing together for the first time since approximately 2012 — nearly 14 years! This special reunion brings together an outstanding collection of Bay Area musicians to celebrate the timeless music of legendary rock band Led Zeppelin!

Guitars ’n’ Kids was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to give children access to music education, instruments, encouragement, and opportunities they might otherwise never experience.
The organization is led by CEO and Co-Founder Barbara Gorin, a longtime advocate for children’s music education and recipient of the prestigious CBS Bay Area Icon Award and Diablo Magazine’s Threads of Hope Award for her dedication to making a difference in the community, which Barbara dedicates these honors to all the volunteers that have been by her side helping make a difference. Every child deserves the opportunity to make music, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. This special event celebrates the extraordinary generosity of local musicians and a community that believes music can truly change lives.
ABOUT GUITARS ’N’ KIDS
Founded in January 2026, Guitars ’n’ Kids is a children’s music nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities for young people to discover music through access to guitars, music instruction, and positive mentorship. Founded by longtime community music advocates Barbara Gorin and co-founders Bruce Johnson, Marty McVeigh and Steve Kennedy, and support from Jay Kirkland, the organization believes in the power of music to inspire confidence, creativity, and hope.
