The Watermill Center invites guests to walk through history, exploring our carefully curated art collection, expansive library, manicured gardens, and historic building. Tours of The Watermill Center are led by a member of our team and offer a unique chance to see how our 10+ acre campus acts as a source of inspiration for our year-round Artists-in-Residence as they push the boundaries of creative practice.
The Watermill Center is pleased to present DiAlog, the largest exhibition devoted to Robert Wilson’s three-dimensional works since the landmark 1991 retrospective Robert Wilson’s Vision. Bringing together sculpture, design, and found objects from The Watermill Center Collection, the exhibition spans more than six decades, from the 1960s through the 2020s, offering one of the most comprehensive examinations of Wilson’s object-based practice in over thirty years. Opening one year after the artist’s passing, DiAlog reconsiders the sculptural works Wilson conceived for the stage – objects long understood within the context of his theatre that have equally been recognized as singular contributions to postwar sculpture, architecture, and design.

PLEASE NOTE: The event takes place both indoors and outdoors, as such we strongly encourage proper footwear and attire. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for the check-in process. Advance registration is required. Space is limited.
