About this Event
During the two-hour Guided Open Play session, you’ll put your new skills into action by playing full games while a Keep Mahjing On instructor circulates to answer questions, reinforce game flow and the Charleston, assist with reading the NMJL card, and offer guidance on hand selection and basic strategy. It’s relaxed, confidence-building play with expert support nearby when you need it—the perfect bridge between learning the fundamentals and feeling comfortable joining a game on your own.
All Mahjong materials are provided, so just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. Whether you’re hoping to join friends at the table, start a new hobby, or discover what all the excitement is about, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to continue your Mahjong journey.
PLEASE NOTE: While this event is open and encouraged for beginner level players, this is NOT a lesson. You must have some knowledge of American Mahjong!
