Join us and our friends Zach and Kristi Weekley on Saturday, October 17th at 10am for a guided hike around the Lake Trail on Double Oak Lake! We are sponsoring this hike to compliment the park's annual Harvest Festival and we would love for you to join us! We are so thankful we have the BEST guides leading this hike for us. Zach and Kristi are some of our favorite humans and they lead hikes that are welcoming and accessible for everyone!
For this hike we expect to see incredible fall foliage as October is historically the time we start to see the leaves change from greens to oranges/yellows/ambers. Did we mention cooler temps??
Hike Overview:
Easy/Beginner hike with a gorgeous view of Double Oak Lake, 3.5 miles round trip, and it should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The hike is open to all ages but the trail is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Well-behaved Dogs welcome but must stay on a leash.
Where to Meet:
Meet Zach and Kristi and your fellow hikers in front of the family style bathhouse in the South Trailhead parking lot at 10am!
