About this Event
Community Forest Therapy
The forest asks nothing of you. Come as you are, take a breath, and give yourself time to rest.
Join EcoRECOVERY for our monthly guided forest therapy gathering on the EcoRECOVERY Trail at Fish Hatchery Park in Grants Pass. Through gentle, sensory invitations, we’ll slow down, notice the natural world around us, and make space for connection with ourselves, the land, and one another.
This is not a hike or a fitness challenge. There is nothing to accomplish, and no experience is needed. Each invitation is optional, allowing you to participate in ways that feel comfortable for your body and meaningful to you.
EcoRECOVERY welcomes adults with lived experience of addiction and those who love and support them. Whether you’re seeking community, a quiet pause, or a new way to support your recovery, you belong here.
What to know:
- Gatherings take place on the last Sunday of each month.
- Ages 18 and older.
- Free to attend; donations gratefully accepted to continue to support the trail and guides.
- A separate park day-use fee is paid at the entrance.
- We gather rain or shine. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for uneven ground.
- Bring water and anything that helps you feel comfortable outdoors.
Please register so we know to expect you, and check your event listing for meeting time and arrival details.
You don’t need to know how to slow down before you arrive. We’ll make space for that together.
