Join us for two hours of mahjong at Tap Time. We’ll be setting up our tables on the Amelia’s side, with plenty of room to play, order dinner, and enjoy a fun Tuesday night together.
Choose the play option that feels right for you when you register:
Open Play
Reserve a seat at an open-play table if you already understand the basics of American mahjong and can play independently. Beginners are welcome, but this option does not include instruction.
Guided Play
Choose guided play if you know the basics but would feel more comfortable playing with the support of an instructor. We’ll help with questions, Charleston decisions, choosing hands, strategy, and keeping the game moving.
Guided play is not a beginner lesson. Players should have already completed an introductory mahjong class or understand the basic rules of play.
Come early and take advantage of Tap Time’s half-price appetizer menu from 4:00–6:00 p.m., or order chicken, shrimp, or beef tacos from the Taco Tuesday menu. Then grab a drink, find your table, and get ready to play!
Please bring your 2026 NMJL card. Mahjong sets will be provided.
Food and beverages are not included in your ticket and may be purchased directly from Tap Time.
