About this Event
Part of Theatreship's guest events - where contemporary artists take over the ship to highlight the stories they want to tell.
In this edition, we welcome London-based artist Vish aboard for a daytime concert of fusion led songrwiting.
Here's some more info from them:
Vish is a Tamil, London-based artist trained in Carnatic classical music, now exploring its intersection with jazz and soul to create a distinctive, improvisation-led sound. Blending intricate raagas with groove, rhythm, and contemporary influences, her music moves fluidly between tradition and experimentation.
She will be joined by Aparna Raguraman, Jatin Naidu, Darsh Meets, Aaron Selva, Sathvika Krishnan, and Ash Gangalam.
Join us for an intimate live set at Theatreship, Canary Wharf on 20th June, 2–4pm, where music blends together and improvisation meets intention. Expect familiar Tamil songs, Carnatic fusion compositions, and a rich, genre-crossing performance shaped by spontaneity, feeling, and live collaboration.

Theatreship is committed to broadening access to the arts - we know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If the regular ticket price is beyond what you feel able to afford for whatever reason, please don't hesitate to email us at [email protected] and we will do everything we can to help, no questions asked.
We also offer arts supporter tickets, for those that can, to pay a higher price to support the venue, the artists who perform here and subsidised tickets for others.
Due to the historic nature of the ship, we’re sorry to say there is not currently step-free access into the theatre space. We have dedicated staff on hand to help with stairs, and an onsite wheelchair once you’re inside the venue. If you have any access needs, please do e-mail us at [email protected].
