About this Event
Part of Theatreship's guest nights - where contemporary artists take over the ship to highlight the stories they want to tell. Here's some more info from them:
Nicholas Hann usually plays saxophone and bass clarinet in bands such as Skydaddy and The Pig and Jimmy Means Smut but now he’s singing his own songs. He’s a big fan of Laurie Anderson and Arthur Russell and @ (because there’s a clarinet in that band).
This is his first ever solo show. He will get by with a little help from his friends (as in some of his beautiful and talented friends will be joining in on some of the songs).
Jenny Kennedy (fka Tyler Cryde) is the project of Tyler Hyde of Black Country, New Road. Her songs are historic annals, soon to be chiseled into the stones if tomorrow.

The venue opens at 2pm for drinks in the bar, and you're welcome to come along early to enjoy a glass of organic wine, or a pint of craft ale in the warm and cosy hold of the ship. The doors for this event will open at 19:30, with music beginning shortly afterwards.
Theatreship is committed to broadening access to the arts - we know that ticket price is a huge barrier for some. If the regular ticket price is beyond what you feel able to afford for whatever reason, please don't hesitate to email us at [email protected] and we will do everything we can to help, no questions asked.
We also offer venue supporter tickets, for those that can, to pay a higher price to support the venue, the artists who perform here, and subsidised tickets for others.
Due to the historic nature of the ship, we’re sorry to say there is not currently step-free access into the theatre space. We have dedicated staff on hand to help with stairs, and an onsite wheelchair once you’re inside the venue. If you have any access needs, please do e-mail us at [email protected].
