Our next on deck coaching session will be with a special guest Coach, Sammy Lane, who runs Inferno Escapes. Sammy is a qualified Masters Swimming Coach, Swimming Australia Swim Coach, Personal Trainer and Triathlon Coach. Sammy sums up the session as follows:
"Most masters swimmers don't need more fitness, they need to stop fighting the water. Reduce drag and you get faster for the same effort."
This can be applied to any stroke. The session will run for an hour and will include free and form as options, so there will be something for everyone.
The session will commence at 8.05am and remember to bring all of your swimming gear; fins, snorkel, pull buoy, paddles, kick board.
The cost will be $20 for Hobart Aquatic Masters members and $30 for non-members.
Places are limited and bookings will close on Tuesday 20 October.
